Grade 2 Starter
Activity Time!
Pick a challenge that you want to work on. Then try to set a challenge just a bit harder than you are used to.
-It could be catching or kicking a ball with the hand or foot you don’t usually use;
-It could be playing a harder song;
-It could be trying harder spelling words or maths problems.
Whatever it is, give it a go. The key challenge is to try something just a bit harder than you have tried before. Not too hard. But harder that what you have tried before.
Your brain needs stress. Some stress is good for your brain because it helps our neurons connect. A great way to create good stress is to challenge ourselves with something a bit harder than what we are used to doing.
