Grade 2 Starter
Pick a challenge that you want to work on. Then try to set a challenge just a bit harder than you are used to.
-It could be catching or kicking a ball with the hand or foot you don’t usually use;
-It could be playing a harder song;
-It could be trying harder spelling words or maths problems.
Whatever it is, give it a go. The key challenge is to try something just a bit harder than you have tried before. Not too hard. But harder that what you have tried before.
- We are learning how challenging ourselves helps to grow our brains;
- We are learning that the golden rule is setting the challenge just a bit harder than what you are used to.
- You can name one activity that you have challenged yourself to do something just a bit harder than you are used to doing;
- You can describe why this is a good thing for your learning.
